Jimmy Dale has been performing rockabilly shows for nearly thirty years and by many accounts, he is one of the best in the world. This show covers the gamut of roots rock n roll stars to western bop and jump blues. Jimmy matches the vocal talents of each artist remarkably. The show moves along intertwining all of these musical styles. Jimmy manipulates the guitar to sound like a pedal steel one moment with the vocal inflection of a driving classic country windup. In the next song, he blows us away with smooth crooning to compliment the great teen idols of the 50s such as Ricky Nelson and Elvis Presley.

 

 

The highlight of the show includes the goosebump raising vocal power and range that is the screamer with hot guitar licks. Original music written and arranged by Jimmy Dale and produced by Fun Guy Records Jim Heath is included in the show. Jimmy’s 2021 release of She’s Wild and ’58 Buick bring audiences to assume these songs are long lost sixty-year-old tunes. Music such as this has earned Jimmy the Best Rockabilly Male award at the Ameripolitan Awards in Memphis. Jimmy’s band is joined by his wife Lynn’s Oklahoma Showgirls, on stage in their flying fringe to compliment the music with historical dancing.
