Jump and Jive to the big band sounds of the 1940s
When jazz was the most popular form of music and people went out dancing for something exciting to look forward to between the depression and World War II. Whether they found a quaint lounge to relax and unwind to a small soothing jazz group, or they went out to hear the orchestras and lindy hop the night away, this time period had it all.
With Jimmy Dale’s smooth vocals, we offer either an orchestra or a nice quartet for background jazz while you dine. The Oklahoma Showgirls perform a high kicking USO show or chorine routines to the shim sham shimmy. Synchronized tap dancing by leggy calendar girls was all the rage to some of the most recognizable music of the 20th century. Our team of music and dance historians will make sure you have a high-flying time!
